An RTT session usually lasts 70 to 90 minutes, and it is worth allowing a two-hour window. Before your session, we have an intake and consultation call to understand what you would like to change and to make sure RTT is right for you.
During the session, you are guided into a relaxed state of hypnosis, where we explore the beliefs and memories connected to the issue you want to work on and begin to reframe them. Afterwards, you receive a personal audio recording to listen to regularly, to help reinforce the new beliefs.
Some people find that one session is enough, while others prefer up to three sessions, depending on their goals. A session costs £400, which includes the intake and consultation call, the RTT session and your personal recording.

Clients often come to RTT and hypnotherapy for help with:
Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical care. If you have a diagnosed mental or physical health condition, please speak to your GP, and ask us about our evidence-based therapies for anxiety, depression and addiction.
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation, similar to the moments just before you fall asleep. You stay aware and in control throughout, and no one can make you say or do anything you do not want to.
Many people find the experience deeply relaxing. Afterwards, some feel emotional or tired, which usually passes quickly. You can find answers to common questions about hypnosis on our FAQs page.
Is RTT right for me? Hypnosis is not advised for everyone, including people with epilepsy or some mental health conditions, such as psychosis. Please avoid alcohol and recreational drugs before a session. We discuss your health during the intake call to make sure hypnotherapy is safe and appropriate for you.
